Karianne Michelle
Founder and CEO
Karianne is an ambitious, big-picture thinker and marketing communications agency veteran. She brings more than 20 years of brand strategy, digital marketing, executive communications, thought leadership development, and business growth experience to her work at Lofti.
Karianne’s well-being training and certifications include Yoga 200hr, iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation, Qigong, Reiki Master Teacher Trainer, and Sound Healing. She currently serves as a sound bath artist for the UVA Contemplative Sciences Center. These experiences sit at the intersection of art and science, offering well-being through sound and an understanding of the work’s efficacy.
As a passionate change-maker for inclusion and equity, Karianne has served as a Board Member with the Lyric Opera of Chicago Guild Board, a Mentor at 1871 in Chicago, and as a Presenter at the UVA Darden School of Business i.Lab Incubator. She is an advocate for nature conservation and an avid birder.
Will Harris
Partner and COO
Will is a former collegiate athlete, entrepreneur and yoga and meditation instructor. His inherent enthusiasm about life comes from creating meaningful impact in the lives of others, including building the first indoor climbing facility in the Palestinian West Bank, incorporating yoga practices like yin into traditional health clubs and helping business leaders cultivate smarter wellness routines with Lofti.
During his two and a half years in the Middle East, Will experienced firsthand the profound benefits of mindful movement in a community seeking internal freedom in the face of external turmoil. After returning to the U.S., he began his yoga teacher-training and meditation journey, and leads heart-centered wellness workshops throughout the U.S.
Lauren Basham
Marketing Coordinator
Lauren’s passion for creating change meets her media-related skills through video editing and production; social media support; and website content strategy. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts studying Sociology and Media Studies in 2024, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Commerce at UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce with a focus in Marketing and Management.
